Sedation Dentistry

As a dental practice, we take our patients’ comfort very seriously. We want them to feel comfortable and less anxious about the prospect of getting their teeth checked or treated. It cannot be helped that some people feel a strong fear and dislike about visiting the dentist. This phobia is called “dentophobia” or fear of the dentist. If you are one of those people, chances are, a dental appointment can cause you so much anxiety.

To deal with this problem, we offer sedation dentistry to calm them down and to change their outlook about visiting the dentist. Sedation dentistry aims to relieve the patients of dental anxiety by offering various medications or sedation options. We also try to understand any special needs that the patient wants in order to feel more relaxed all throughout the appointment.

TMJ Treatment

TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorder is when there are problems with the muscles in your face and jaw that control the TMJ. The TMJ is the hinge that connects your jaw to the bones in front of each ear which is called temporal bones. It is the thing that allows you to move your jaw side to side and up and down so you can chew, talk, and yawn.

If you are suffering from a TMJ disorder, your symptoms may range from:

  • Jaw pain
