Meet Your Forest Lane Dental Team

Joan is a Registered Dental Hygienist with a degree from the University of Wyoming. She joined the Forest Lane Dental team in 2003 and loves coming to work each day when she can collaborate with such a great bunch of people.

When Joan is not busy at the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors.

Sheena was born in Germany to a military family, where she lived for 5 years before moving to Calgary where she was raised. Sheena attended Central Memorial High School before completing her Bachelor of Science at Mount Royal University. After moving to the USA, Sheena attended the University of Wyoming where she received her Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1995. Having moved back to Calgary, Sheena practiced dental hygiene for another 5 years before the adventure bug caught her again and she moved to New Zealand where she practiced dental hygiene and traveled across New Zealand and Australia.

Sheena joined the Forest Lane Dental team in 2002 as a temporary dental hygienist, but fell in love with the clinic and the team and became a full-time dental hygienist the following year. She has never looked back! Sheena absolutely loves being a dental hygienist and is thankful for all of the wonderful friendships she has created with her patients and colleagues since joining the Forest Lane Dental team.

When she is not at the clinic, Sheena can be found spending time with her family and volunteering at her son’s school, as well as his hockey and fastpitch teams. Sheena loves to travel, explore, play volleyball, and spend time with her family and friends.
